Sugar rush

My parents headed back to Colorado the day after Thanksgiving but we still had a couple of days left with Mandy so we filled them up with fun and festive activities. 

On Black Friday we went out in the afternoon to hit up some of the stores in Bay Ridge.  By that point in the day most of the crazy shoppers were gone but we still got some great deals.  The only downside to afternoon Black Friday shopping is having to pick through the tornado of merchandise strewn about the stores from the rush.

That evening we decked out the apartment for Christmas.  You can read/see it all here.  Afterwards we ordered our favorite Grandma's pizza for Mandy to try and played Sonic racing.

Then we put together a gingerbread house kit that Dan picked-up a few days earlier.  We supplemented our personal candy stash with the candy it came with and had a really good time putting it together.
