Weekending it - what weekend?

I didn't really have much of a weekend which has made this Monday pretty difficult.  I got back from Boston late on Saturday night (more about that later) and woke up Sunday to a jam packed day.


After church, Dan baptized one of the teenagers in the youth group (can't say his name for privacy matters) and it was so great to have such a positive event happen on a crummy day.  It was especially great since Dan played a big part in that teenager's spiritual development and I was proud of both of them.  It means so much to see the fruit of so much planting.  But of course, the glory belongs to God and we just enjoy to witness God work.

Yes. We use a baby pool for baptisms.  God doesn't care about fancy - this is Brooklyn!

The baptism was followed by a homemade pizza party at his house which was super delicious and fun but meant we didn't get back home until 5 pm.  Day gone.
