2014 Blog in Review

One of the greatest thing about this blog is that we have something to look back at when we want to remember what we did this year.  Here's the recap:

January

We started the wedding planning craziness by sending out Save the Dates, picking venues, and bracing ourselves for months and months of details.

February

More wedding planning, more snow, more cold, more snuggles.  The arctic blast knocked us flat but we rallied by going to the ballet and basketball.

March

Wedding planning hit lots of bumps and the wedding dress potential crisis gave us a scare and we did our taxes.

April

We headed to Chicago for the wedding tasting and visited one of the highest heights.

May

This month was crazy with the opening of the museum and I began to get restless waiting for our new apartment.  And we became a vitalized couple.

June

We started and ended our new apartment search and gave you all a tour. We had not one but two surprise wedding showers and I also had my dance recital.

July

We did the Color Run.  Wedding gifts began arriving.  We started cleaning and painting and putting together our new apartment.  My mom came out to take care of me for a week and Dan turned 29!

August

I turned 28 and hit our 100th post on this blog.  We moved into our new apartment. The biggest event of the month was our Wedding!!  We were so glad all the planning and waiting was finally over.

September

We had a blast in Cape May.  Hosted friends at our apartment for a post-wedding Brooklyn gathering and returned to the Midwest for our Kansas reception.

October

We went apple picking for the first time.  Carved a pumpkin.  And we hit our stride in our new apartment and hosted friends for a Halloween party.

November

I posted lots of wedding photos and my parents and Mandy came to visit for Thanksgiving.

December

We decked out the apartment for Christmas, saw some amazing Christmas lights, and headed to Kansas for the holiday.

This year was stressful but worth it - I have Dan forever and he has me and we're both pretty happy that 2014 made it happen.
