Weekending it

Boys Club!! Kip and Dad had a day-venture in the city on Saturday. Very exciting.

They got to take the New Jersey transit train into Midtown and then take the subway down to lower Manhattan. They met-up with Dan's boss, "Uncle Joey," and surprised Kip with a trip to the top of One World Trade Center for his birthday.

They got burgers for lunch and then rode the subway back up to Midtown.

The real reason for the trip into the city was for Uncle Joey to take Kip to the Lego Store!!!!!! He let him pick whatever he wanted!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kip somehow knew what a blank check looked like and he cashed in!! That Uncle Joey is a crazy generous guy. Kip got the Lego passenger train set to add to his new collection. He was ecstatic.

They brought home a Lego set for Ivy too. Big fun!!

Don't worry, the girls had fun too. Mom and Mimi took Ivy to the mall where she got to be the only child for the day. Picking junk at Claire's and having her favorite Chick-fil-a for lunch. She tolerated our shopping as well, thanks to endless snacks.

We are headed to Kansas this week so we'll check back in upon our return!
