A little peek into our busy week...
On Tuesday night we took the kids to the National Night Out event in town. We'd never been and had pretty low expectations based on other events the town has hosted. But we were impressed and stayed for nearly two hours. Tons of activities for the kids and lots of SWAG to bring home, best of all - it was free!!
Kip won this toss game for his age bracket and got a bat and bubbles as a prize.
Tattoos and spin art from the PTO
Face paint from the Arts Alliance
Free bounce house fun.
Mini version of the touch a truck event with the city vehicles
The Police Department took the kids mug shots and finger prints. It was pretty cute and clever.
Dunk Tank!
Spin a wheel - win a prize!! We also entered a bunch of raffles for bikes and toys but didn't win the draw.
Scratch art and popcorn from the Elks
And one of the firefighters let Kip try on HER bunker gear!
Super fun event. We will definitely come back in the future.
On Wednesday, Mandy took the kids to the beach while Dan and I were at work. She spoils them so well.
Ice cream too!
On Thursday the kids went to the neighboring town library to pick up a few prizes from the reading program. They have a lot of fun toys there as well.
Kip put on a puppet show for Ivy and another little girl.
Then swimming lessons on Thursday night.
Auntie Jess arrives tonight for a fun birthday weekend visit!
