This weekend the weather was consistently warm and it finally felt like spring! We couldn't wait any longer to get the yard ready for the season. I had Friday off of work and Mandy and I took Ivy to Home Depot to look for flowers.
On Saturday, Kip made his bed all by himself for the very first time. No help!
Then Kip finished his swim lesson session (post about that coming this week) and then that afternoon Dan and I took the kids to the YMCA healthy kids event. There was an agility course and bounce house plus Kip took us on a little tour of the place since he is so familiar now after doing swim lessons.
It's funny, Kip is quite the popular guy. He saw three of his classmates and then two guys who work at the Y made a point to come up and give him fist bumps and say hi. Apparently they work at the after school program run by the Y at the school and evidently, they know Kip even though he does not attend any before or after care programs.
The rest of the weekend, Mandy worked on the yard and it is starting to look GREAT!
I started getting my balcony spruced up.
And Dan and Kip made an epic Lego train track.
We did chores, grocery shopping, meal planning for the new month, got our pool pass stickers for the season, and did Mother's Day and Teacher Appreciation Week gifts.
Today it is rainy and dull and I'm at work in the city. Blah. Happy Monday!
