I was really happy for him because he had been working so hard and was just SO eager to get moving. At the same time, I was sad about the crawling because he is growing so fast. And, well, crawling adds a lot more work.
Every day he gained both confidence and speed. And now, he can't be left unattended AT ALL. You know how some babies are never really interested in destroying things or getting into stuff they shouldn't? Those babies don't really need a lot of baby proofing. Kip? Yeah, he's not one of those babies. He is into EVERYTHING and seems more interested in grabbing cords, pulling over lamps, and dragging coffee cups off the table than any age appropriate toy we give him. Even when he has all his stuff laid out in front of him, he wants to get at that dirty shoe on the other side of the room. We're in for trouble with this one.
It hasn't even been a month and he is already starting to pull-up on things and toe the line with cruising. Slow down buddy!!
