This week was our first "real" schedule week. I had Kippy solo on Monday and Tuesday. Mandy came on Wednesday. Dan stayed home on Thursday. And Mandy was back on Friday. That is our weekly schedule for the next three weeks and then I head back to work on Wednesday - Friday. At that point, Dan will have his solo day with Kip on Thursdays and Mandy gets Kip all to herself on Wednesdays and Fridays. Hoping this arrangement works out well. In the meantime, I get extra hands.
Victories for Kip this week: Sleeping on his back in the pack n play in our room at night!!! We feel better knowing he is on his back and it will hopefully make the eventual transition to the crib insignificant. The only issue we still have is his pacifier falling out of his mouth and I have to help him get it back in. Hoping he discovers his hands soon.

Paci fell out. Drama ensued.
On Thursday, Kippy gave Dan and me a run for our money. He refused to nap unless being held. So we took turns.
Also on Thursday, Dan and I took Kip on a walk to the Pier to do our little anniversary tradition of re-reading our vows, saying a prayer, and then making a wish for the year and tossing one of our squished penny wedding favors into the ocean. Kip came with us this year which was extra special because our wish LAST year was that God would bless us with a pregnancy. We didn't expect a baby but just some progress on the family building. Little did we know then, but God blessed us with the actual baby!! 2016/2017 was a good one.
