2023 Ornaments

I love getting memory ornaments to add to our tree each year. The hodge-podge sentimental theme is really my favorite.

This year we got an ornament from our Statsburg Railroad trip and one from when we stayed at Great Wolf Lodge

Each kid got an ornament on Grinchmas for their current interest. Kip loves R2D2 right now (he hasn't watched Star Wars yet but he likes the Lego version and R2 is her favorite, mostly because he is blue). And we all know Ivy's favorite thing right now is unicorns.

I added to our annual family ornament (cute but requiring a little super glue mending again this year).

And we purchased a brass ornament when we were at Storybook Land to mark our second (hopefully annual) visit at Christmastime.

Auntie Jess visited Glastonbury Tor (and spread some of Marmee's ashes nearby). She brought us back a beautiful ornament from her visit.

And of course I love a good kid craft ornament. This year the kids painted wood ones I got from Hobby Lobby.

Ivy was outraged that she wasn't able to paint a unicorn to her satisfaction. So super Dad used his talents to paint one for her.
