Marmee and Poppa arrived on Friday night and we have enjoyed a fun-filled visit with them over a long weekend.
On Saturday we had our traditional visit to Target where the kids get to pick out a toy.
That night we celebrated Poppa's 75th birthday with takeout and a yummy cake.
Sunday we played outside and Monday I took the day off, pulled Kip out of school a little early, and we headed to the beach!!
Ivy was NOT a fan of the sand in her toes but we just put socks and shoes back on her and she was good to go.
She loved collecting the shells.
We packed a picnic, hung out on the sand a bit, walked the boardwalk, got ice cream and let the kids ride the quarter rides a few times. We were home by 3:00 pm. It wasn't without stress and crabby kids but it was fun nonetheless.
