Grad-u-lation Day!

Yesterday was Kip's Pre-K Graduation ceremony, or as he called it "gradulation day." I'm shocked at how quickly this little preschool year passed and I'm sad to see it go. Kip truly had a great experience, especially given all the lingering pandemic concerns and rules/restrictions.

There were four classes with a total of 44 graduates which is the largest Pre-K class this school has ever had and the first graduation ceremony they have hosted in-person. We were SOOOO impressed by what Kip learned this year and how quickly and successfully he advanced at skills we had struggled to get him interested in at home. The ceremony was adorable, as expected. Cute songs, each kid drew a picture of what they want to be when they grow up, and then they each got their certificate of completion.

Kip LOVED his teacher, Ms. Oks. She was so kind and caring towards him and really gave him an incredible foundation for starting school. We will miss her so much, but luckily Kip gets to do Yoga Summer Camp with her in a few weeks!!

Both Kip and Ivy were grouchy for a family photo but an admin did the best she could. LOL

Here, this is cuter.

Love this little grad with all my heart and thinking back on that first night with him in the hospital after he was born and what a struggle it was for the two of us. Look how far we've come!!
