Weekending it

Peeks from our weekend. 

Saturday was overcast and a bit cold but we decided to take the kids to an outdoor free event at the YMCA down the block from our house. They had a fire truck so that was the main draw for us. 

Kip had a blast and although he was initially shy he warmed-up really quickly and ran around the whole event doing everything he could find. 

 

 

It was really fun to go to an event that wasn't crowded. Something like this in Brooklyn would have been packed and with Covid we wouldn't have even considered attending. We hope to get a membership to the Y by the end of May and enjoy all the amenities soon!

On Sunday we took on a big project to paint the garage. Full reveal soon. For now, Kip "helping." 

Springtime weather is such a roller coaster. Today it is in the 70s and tomorrow will be barely 50. I hear Kansas just got snow. Yikes.

I'm really looking forward to summer! Surprise, surprise.
