My (fully vaccinated) parents were able to come and visit for the weekend!!! It was so nice to see them and Kip was over the moon with new company. Ivy even warmed-up to them after a day or so.
We played most of the time but Mandy and and Dad did some garage and yard projects. My dad grilled steak one night. Dan and I got our first shots. And Kip got to go to Target with Marmee and Poppa to pick out a couple of new toys. That's what grandparents are for! Kip is already looking forward to the next visitors.
Today and yesterday our roof is being replaced by the HOA. It's SOOOOO loud and messy but I'm looking forward to the task being done and being able to get the outside of the house set-up for summer. Plus side - we didn't have to pay for it!
