Anne Ellen Holiday Village

We made it back to the Anne Ellen Tree Farm Holiday Village display again this year. We had so much fun there last year we wanted to make another visit even with tight timing this season. We had tickets to go earlier this month but it was closed for high winds. We lucked out because Tuesday evening was our rescheduled date and it was super pleasant and not nearly as cold as it was last year when we visited.

There was a little Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt happening as well so Kip enjoyed looking in the scenes for hidden elf dolls.

We stopped for some hot chocolate, popcorn, funnel cake, and warm pretzel.

Lots of fun displays and interactive features.

Super fun family night out in the middle of the woods with enchanting festive light displays.

And, yes, we did see THE drones in the sky.

2024 Ornaments and other decor

It's time for the annual ornament round-up!

Here's our family ornament for the year:

Dan and I got a special one for our 10th anniversary:

And we picked up a few throughout the summer from our adventures to Cape May, camping, and Legoland.

Of course we've got some new crafty homemade ornaments added this year:

And for their special interest ornaments, Kip got a blue dragon and Ivy got a gold and sparkly unicorn:

Our Santa ornament always arrives late and makes it's debut on the tree the following Christmas.

We don't change much with our decor from year to year and I know I've shared it a lot in the past but here are a few peeks this year. We rotated our couch around to make room for the tree. Normally the L faces the sliding door.

Mandy made gorgeous garlands all the way up the stairs this year. It was hard to get a night photo but they light up as well. Super pretty.

I love our mantle.
