Gobble gobble! Here is our Thankful Turkey for 2023. Kip was excited to make the turkey this year and both kids were great about thinking of what to add to the feathers throughout the month.
Kip had that classic school project to disguise a turkey! We got the Turkey Trouble book and read it a few times. Kip's idea was to disguise his turkey as a tree, since no one eats trees! Lol. We collected leaves and twigs and glued them down, easy peasy! We added some acorn tops for sunglasses. We worked on it together over fall break and despite how perfect it looks, I only helped pressing the leaves and with the gluing part!
He was happy with it so that's what counts.
And a little morning craft time session with mom, the kids made cute little turkey and scarecrow Popsicle stick characters.
We are hosting Thanksgiving this year with my side of the family and cooking something totally non-traditional.
We hope you have a lovely holiday filled with food and family. See you back next week!
Happy Thanksgiving! You’ll have to read Turkey Clause😁
