Dan has had a stressful few weeks at work and I was feeling badly that he missed our apple picking day on Monday. This coming weekend looks like more rain and I wanted to make sure Dan got to join-in on some of the fall fun.
Yesterday ended-up being a gorgeous fall day so we squeezed-in a spontaneous and quick trip back to the orchard after we picked-up Kip from school. We had about an hour before the place closed for the day and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful weather, no crowd at all, the kids got their favorite ice cream from the truck on site for a quick snack, and then we ran around the pumpkin patch.
Took some cute pictures which is always my goal.
Dan asked Kip to take a photo of us. Dude took exactly ONE shot. At least it was good!
We grabbed some more apples while we were there as well.
