Due to all the rain we've had this fall, we were forced to divide and conquer in order to get some of our fall favorite activities accomplished. Even though we wanted to wait for Dan to go apple picking, the weather on Monday was too good to miss the opportunity so he gracefully let us go without him (he didn't get the holiday off of work). The place we went to had apples and pumpkins and Mandy and I tried our best to get some cute photos of the kids along the way (omitting some you might see later on a Christmas card).
We were waving at the geese flying south.
I mean, can you even believe that perfect blue sky with white puffy clouds? It was a gorgeous day.
We loaded up the wheelbarrow and I was a bit petrified at what it would end up costing but it was extremely reasonable. Only $80 for four huge pumpkins, a few little ones, and at least 10 pounds of apples.
And the apples are delicious! Maybe we'll go back.
