It was a our last full week of summer. Nothing super special but Mandy took the kids to some fun places while Dan and I were at work.
They went to a fun new-to-us playground on Monday with one of Mandy's nanny friends.
And on Wednesday, Mandy drove them to a new-to-us museum. It had a train layout and cool invention station where Kip made a flying contraption.
They got Kip's favorite Wendy's for dinner and found a namesake street.
Dan and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary on Wednesday. We went out to dinner in the city, exchanged cards, tossed our squished penny into the Hudson, and got gelato before heading home. Simple and sweet.
On Thursday, Dan and I took the kids for a morning bike ride and Ivy showed off her brave slide and climbing skills she has worked so hard to master this summer.
We said goodbye to our first neighborhood friend as her and her mom move back to NYC.
And Kip and Ivy finished off their summer swim lessons (we aren't stopping just marking the end of the summer session).
Next week we start fall soccer and FIRST GRADE!!!!
