Ivy's Monthly Photos

We had Ivy's one year well visit yesterday. It was our last appointment with our pediatrician back in Brooklyn. It's bittersweet, we really liked our doctor but it just makes more sense to go to someone more local to us now. And I'm sure Dan appreciates not having to make mid-week drives with two kids for a 20 minute check-up.

It is always a shock to compare growth over the first year. It's so wild how fast they grow at this age. Ivy was born 7 pounds 2 ounces and 20 inches long. On her first birthday she weighs 21 pounds 11 ounces and is 31.5 inches long! She grew 11.5 inches and gained over 14 pounds! Still a little pixie pie but a sugar lump as well. She is in the 98% for length so she may be Dad's basketball star after all!

The future me always appreciates these photo progressions. The in-the-moment me isn't always a fan of the production. But, I'd say Ivy was 80% more compliant for these little photo shoots than Kip was and that was certainly appreciated.
