This new existence is starting to feel somewhat normal. It helps that Mandy, Dan, and I are all relative introverts and are getting sufficient social stimulation from each other and plenty of verbal and audible input from the 2 1/2 year old. Ask me in a few weeks if we still like this situation...
We've found a routine. Have moments to look forward to (like our 3 pm break/snack) and we all generally agree on what to eat and what show to watch in the evening. Things outside our four walls are imploding and we can feel that tension and worry every day but for now we feel safe in our home. Stuck in many ways, but safe. We hope to get out this weekend for some fresh air and a chance for Kip to run around.
Some scenes from our week:
Making banana bread with Mandy
And discovering the "View in 3D" option on Google gave us some entertainment this week.
We even fooled my parents on April 1st, trying to convince them we got a dog during this pandemic.
Happy Friday!
