We had a wonderfully warm spring weekend made all the more enjoyable with a visit from Auntie Jess!
On Saturday we went to New Jersey and met Mandy for lunch at Famous Dave's BBQ.
Kip was just introduced to matchbox cars and he is obsessed.
Random side story: Sometimes people stop us and oogle over Kip. It's sweet but also odd. There was a man in the parking lot of the restaurant that was going on and on about how cute Kip is and then he took his phone and asked me if he could call his son so that his son could see him. I was like what? ok? So he called his son IN INDIA on video chat to show him Kip. And then he continued to tell Dan how cute Kip was and what a blessing he was and giving him all kinds of advice on careers we should encourage and to have him listen to Mozart and Beethoven. It was a strange experience but also sweet but also weird.
Anyways, after lunch Dan drove us over to a park that had advertised a Cherry Blossom Festival. We hit a little early and didn't see too many blooming trees but Kippy loved walking around and going to the playground. It was such a gorgeous day.
Then we grabbed from Thai rolled ice cream before heading home to Brooklyn.
On Sunday Dan had to help with welcome team at church so Jess and I stayed home with Kip so he could get a solid nap and we could meet Mandy for lunch and shopping along 86th street. When Dan got back home he hung-out with Kip while we got our nails done.
Tickles with Jess
Monday was the warmest day we've had so far this year and humid too! I tried to snap as many pictures as possible since it was Jess's last day. Kippy so being so sweet and cute. We took him to the park in the afternoon and he had a blast.
Thanks for visiting us Jess! We love you!!
