Weekending it

Kippy had a bad cold this weekend. Poor little bud. Probably the worst one he has had so far. We thought he may even have croup on Friday night but fortunately not. We didn't do much of anything on Saturday as a result, even missed the neighborhood trolly with Santa. Bummer, but that happens.

On Sunday Kip slept-in and was well enough, and fever free, so we decided to keep our plans to go visit Mandy at the live Nativity at her church in New Jersey. They had a cute little petting zoo area so Kip was pretty interested in that for about 2 minutes.

Most of the time he was just trying to wander off.

We saw Auntie Mimi as an angel and sang half of one carol. Ha. I felt bad for Mandy, it was cold out!

We met up with her after but our plans to get an early dinner at Cheesecake Factory backfired when everyone else in the area had the same idea. So we headed home to finish all our weekend chores.

Only one weekend left before we leave for Kansas. So much left to do, so little time!! Cue Amy Grant Christmas music on repeat!
