Weekending it

December always seems to speed by so quickly and we never have enough time to do all the festive things. We have three weekends of December before we'll be in Kansas so we are doing what we can without getting unnecessarily stressed out.

This weekend we decided to visit the holiday market in Bryant Park. We've been many times before and the rain looked like it would hold so Mandy, Dan, Kip, and I headed into the city on the subway around 10 am. We got there at 11 and stayed just a couple of hours. It was so dang overcrowded. Literally every aisle and stall was packed. A line for every food vendor and ugh, just not much fun when you can't even look at stuff. But we persevered.

We shared some rice balls, fried ravioli, German soft pretzel, and sweet brioche rolls. I bought an overpriced ornament per tradition and Mandy bought some gloves.

Fortunately Kip napped after we got home and Mandy and I got MUCH belated birthday pedicures (4 months later).

On Sunday we had a very long day at church since I was leading brunch team. Dan watched after Kippy. Little nugget is adored by so many people at church. These two friends are the leaders of his fan club.

And now onto another week. Happy December!!
