Well there is never much of anything to share about February. Cold and dry and doldrums. We do effectively nothing during this time of year except our weekly chores and occasional lunch out. The weather finally hit above 30 degrees this weekend so we took the kids to the playground for a brief moment. Ivy completely forgot how to be her old fearless self on a slide. The kids have only gotten outdoor recess like twice since December!! And Kip ran smack into a tree giving himself a bump on his forehead!
Most of the weekend looks like toys all over the floor and lounging on the couch. We finally made it to Star Wars the Force Awakens.
March is just around the corner and Daylight Savings shortly after. We'll make it everybody! Isn't it always surprising that we always survive?
Now what's on the horizon? Mother-Son Dance is next week. Kip's school musical is at the end of March. Poppa is road-tripping to see us in April. And we are three months away from Ivy's 5th birthday and her first friend party. She has a lot of expectations and I'm only human. Pray for us.
