So sorry for the unintended blog break last week. I didn't have much of anything to share and it was a crazy week. Kip stayed home from school 4/5 days last week with a small intestinal bug that had an on and off again start the end of the week prior. It was a strange little bug with no fever, no real stomach pain, minimal appetite change, and no vomiting. Just some need for pull-ups. It wasn't awful but definitely not something he could go to school with. He had three rapid tests and one PCR in the process plus a trip to the pediatrician where the doctor confirmed it was a virus going around the school. Coincidence it was the same week the masks became optional? I think not. Illnesses are stressful and I was especially worried since we had anticipated visitors coming at the end of the week. Fortunately, Kip turned a corner and was perfectly fine by Thursday when Grandma and Aunt Judy arrived!!!
We had a blast the last five days, visiting and playing and enjoying each others company. Cousin Kourtney and Byron came to visit on Saturday and we all relished good food, good laughs, and great memories
The kids went to Build-a-Bear for the first time!!!
We played outside.
Arranged endless trains.
And we took them to Northlandz - "The biggest layout ever and all!"
Kip and Ivy both loved all the extra attention and playmates and we all soaked-up the love and affection from our family far away. We are looking forward to the next visit already!
Thanks for everything Aunt Judy and Grandma!!
