Summer So Far

July is our mellow no travel, no visitors, chill-out month. We've been enjoying the flexible schedule. 

Lots of time at the pool! We usually go in the evening after dinner. There is just enough time to swim and be home in time for showers and bed. Plus, we all get to go. 

Mandy got the kids an unlimited pass to Chuck-e-Cheese for the summer. It's funny, she and I both imagined Chuck-e-Cheese was gross but it's actually really nice and a perfect entertainment option for the kids on a too hot or rainy day. Don't sleep on the cheese! Check it out. We've gone twice so far.

They've gone to the local library a few times to participate in the activities there.

Lots of playground time and splash pads.

The kids have been working on their summer workbooks and Kip has been doing A LOT of reading.

 

On rainy days we've been playing a lot of Duplo Legos and watching a lot of Mandalorian.
