Our weekend was very mellow. Kip was still sick and although his rapid strep test from Thursday came back negative, the lab test came back positive. We ended up taking him to an urgent care on Sunday because he was complaining of an earache. They ran a viral panel that came back with rhinovirus and parainfluenza type 2. Oh, and plus the strep. So that's a cold, croup, and strep. He stayed on the couch for most of the weekend and we watched Zootopia about 15 times and other random shows.
He rallied for a few occasions. We did the bounce house inside and played outside when the weather was warm.
Dan and Ivy had some one-on-one playtime since Kip was couch-bound. So cute!!
Kip is back at school today after three days absent + the holiday Monday. Sigh. I'm pretty sure the rest of the house will get to pick from the viral combo for the next week. Summer save us!!
