Peeks from the Week

Oh boy, it's fake spring over here. That deceptive little sneak attack of warm weather and sunny skies having us believe we're nearly out of the doldrums. I'm not fooled! But, thanks for the break mother nature.

Happy little week over here, I'll spare you the drama and work stress and only share the highlights.

Tuesday was Mandy and my half birthday. Dan split us a card and got us Crumbl cookies to celebrate. Yum!

Kip had basketball practice Tuesday and Wednesday night. He has this funny little set-up before he takes a shot, he likes his hands placed in a certain way. The parent volunteers were perplexed by it but he made the basket nearly every time! It will be good form for free throws.

The last practice is next Wednesday and is an obstacle course race. Ivy enjoys coming to practice even though she whines the whole time.

Dan started in the 3x3 adult basketball league at the Y and had his first game last night. He came back sweaty and energized like I haven't seen him in a long time. I hope it's a good experience to get back into the game and meeting new people.

Today is Kip's half birthday! The big 5 1/2, and you better believe he made sure there would be a present for him.

His classmates get crowns on their birthday, but since Kip's birthday is in the summer, he won't get a crown. So he made one for himself. I love his creativity.

Happy Friday!
