Weekending it

More fall fun over here this weekend! We took the kids to a garden center on Saturday to pick some pumpkins. It was a perfect excursion and both Kip and Ivy enjoyed themselves.

In years past we've taken Kip to a fun farm with apple picking, pumpkins, and a lot of other fall-themed activities. It was typically very crowded and expensive. This year we went simple and it worked perfectly. It wasn't crowed, we got a few good pictures, Ivy loved walking around the store (first time she has been in a store and walked around), and we got GREAT warm fresh apple cider donuts.

I was happy with the quick adventure because magic granted me this photo:

Neither are quite looking at the camera but they are smiling, so I'll take it!

Sunday there was supposed to be a local Touch-a-Truck event we've been looking forward to in town but it got rained out so we spent Sunday doing chores and playing - like pumpkin painting!

Yesterday I had off of work and Kip has no school. Mandy and I thought we'd take the kids to a little farm stand in town to do some more pumpkin exploring.

We had the place all to ourselves!

Back at school and back at work today!
