On the 4th of July we took the kids to Storybook Land for our first visit this season. No muss, no fuss, just a simple low-key day at the sweetest little amusement park ever. I think this visit was the first time we've gone on a week day. That plus the fact that it was a holiday and the park was practically empty. It was amazing. We never waited in line ever and half the time the rides weren't even full. Kip and Ivy both had a blast. We all did.
This was the first time Ivy really got to go ride besides the train. She got upset a few times when she wasn't big enough for a ride, but that was mostly because she wanted to be with Kip and not left out. This was also the first time we've gone without the stroller and our little wagon worked perfectly.
The kids slept practically the entire ride home and we cannot wait to go back again soon, it's our summer happy place.
