Book Nook | Valentine's Theme

Basically just marking the calendar one minor holiday at a time. Mandy and I enjoy looking forward to swapping out small mantel decor and flipping the kids books every month. For our February books we kept it somewhat small and took some of what we already had and added a few others that we picked up at the grocery store or on Amazon.

I will probably never get used to the fact that we live near a huge grocery store that literally has everything we need in one stop AND a small kids book section. I know it's lame but in Brooklyn our grocery store was tiny and terrible with having every day essentials in stock or items not past due. I truly never expected to be able to buy kids books at the grocery store. This month, three books we already had, three we got online, and the remaining six were from Shoprite!

My favorite is The Invisible String. It's a really sweet story that's perfect for Valentine's day but also a really great year round book about how love keeps people connected. One Big Heart is also really cute and a great story about diversity and inclusion.
