The show is based on true stories and takes place on 9/11 and the days after when hundreds of international flights were diverted to a tiny town in Newfoundland when the United States air space was closed after the terrorist attacks. It's a cast of 12 plus a band and everyone is on stage for the vast majority of the show, all playing multiple characters. It was beautiful and heartwarming and one of my new favorites for sure! On Saturday the sun finally came out! We took Kip to a friends birthday party at a local park. Kippy is at that tough age when he wants to do everything but he really can't just yet and gets very frustrated. Poor guy, just wants to fly.
Sunday, Dan and I killed it with our team work! Sundays are always long and busy but we buckled down and Dan did all the laundry and I went grocery shopping all before 10 am. That left us with loads of time after church to go on a long walk with Kip and a relaxing evening together. Worth the early effort for sure!
Way to go on teamwork! Getting laundry and shopping done before 10am! You guys are rockstars! Avery is at that same stage-- just wants to do everything she sees older kids doing. We're catching glimpses of some temper tantrums. :(
