Y'all we've been counting down the days to Ivy's birthday and expectations are sky high. She got to kick off the festivities early this past weekend with a little day trip.
Dan's boss "Joey" has a little tradition to take the kids into the city for their birthday. This was Ivy's first year that she got to go.
Dan and her rode the train into the city on Saturday and met Joey in Midtown.
They went to FAO Schwartz and she picked out some stuffies, a few pieces of jewelry, and an alicorn toy. And she picked a couple of toys for Kip too.
They went to her favorite Chick-fil-a for lunch before heading home.
She had a good day. My itty bitty girl in the big city.
